Unit 4 When is Easter
第一课时
教学目标：
1．能够感知A部分的核心句型，并能在语境中理解Good luck的含义。 2. 能够在图片和教师帮助下理解对话大意。
3. 能够用正确的语音、语调、意群朗读对话，并能分角色朗读。
4. 能够在情景中运用句型When is April Fool’s Day? It’s on April 1st. And Easter? It’s on April 5th this year.询问并回答节日的日期。X|k | B| 1 . c|O |m
5. 能够在情景中运用句型There are some special days in April.表达某月有多少特殊的日子
6. 能够在语境中理解单词special的意思，并能正确发音。
教学重、难点：
重点：能够用正确的语音、语调、意群朗读对话，并能分角色朗读。
难点：能够在情景中运用句型When is April Fool’s Day? It’s on April 1st. And Easter? It’s on April 5th this year.询问并回答节日的日期。

教学步骤：
（一）热身／复习（Warm-up/Revision）

2. 教师播放第70页的第三单元歌曲The twelve months,学生齐唱。
3. 教师拍手，学生听拍手次数抢答。如教师拍四下收，代表月份，学生听到拍手声，心算次数后，以举手抢答的形式，说出并拼出单词April。 （二）呈现新课 （Presentation）
Let’s try
1. 出示Let’s try板块的图片，提问：Where is Zhang Peng? What is he doing?
学生回答后，教师说：Zhang Peng is practicing running. Mr Jones is talking to him. Which month are they talking about? Listen and tick, please.
2. 学生听录音，完成听音选月份的练习。 Let’s talk
1. 教师说：I like April Fool’s Day. Zip likes it, too. Let’s watch a cartoon. First, I’ll ask you two questions. Who is an April Fool? When is April Fool’s Day? 然后教师播放四年级下册第二单元story time板块的动画视频，学生带着问题观看。
2. 学生看完动画后回答问题说：Zoom is an April Fool. April Fool’s Day is on April 1.
3. 教师说：There are some special days in April. What are they? Does Zhang Peng love April?
4. 请学生带着问题听Let’s talk的录音。回答问题。
5. 教师展示教材图片，让学生看图，再次播放Let’s talk的录音，教师提问： When is Easter this year? 引导学生回答：It’s on April 5th this year.
6. 教师利用课间出示有关复活节的图片说： Easter is an important holiday in many countries. It’s on April 5th this year. People will colour beautiful eggs and hide them. 接着指导学生看图描述：Kids will find the eggs and put them into baskets. Many people go to church on Easter Sunday. People like to eat a meal together. It is a wonderful holiday.
7. 教师播放Let’s talk板块的动画视频，学生观看。
8. 教师播放Let’s talk板块的录音，学生逐句跟读。跟读的过程中，教师应适时提示学生注意说话者的语气以及句子的升降调。
9. 教师在与学生的交流中板书：When is April Fool’s Day? It’s on April 1st.请学生跟读、拼读，并进行生生回答。教师适时板书：When is Easter? It’s on April 5th this year. 学生回答练习。 （三）趣味操练 （Practice）
1. 学生分角色听录音模仿并朗读对话，三人一组练习后在小组内表演对话并展示。
2. 学生完成第38页的连线题，将图片、节日与日期连起来。
3. 教师利用课间出示各种节日的图，说There are some special days in a year. Please talk about the holidays with your partner. 学生合作创编对话，并请个别组进行表演，鼓励学生使用更多学过的句型，如：I / We can ? I / We like to ? I / We often?

1. 听读Let’s talk,并诵读重点句型。
2. 听Let’s talk 部分的录音，读给同伴、朋友或家长听。 3. 给爸爸妈妈介绍自己喜欢的节日。
第二课时
教学目标：
1. 能够听、说、读、写单词first，second，third，fourth，fifth等序数及其缩写形式.
2. 能够通过图片掌握相关活动English test, maths test, singing test, school trip, sports meet, April Fool’s Day。
3. 能够使用句型Which season do you like best? 进行问答。
4. 能运用一般现在时特殊疑问句When is ?句型，询问相关活动的发生日期，并能够运用It’s on +月份+序数词进行回答。
5. 能够用英语表达具体的活动日期。
6. 鼓励学生根据实际情况观察活动安排表，并运用目标语句进行对话练习。

教学步骤：
（一）热身／复习（Warm-up/Revision）
1. 教师利用课间配图小诗You have one, I have one,学生拍手吟唱： You have one, I have one, two little children see the sun. You have two, I have two, four little children go to school. You have three, I have three, six little children pick many apples. You have four, I have four, eight little children go swimming. You have five, I have five, ten little children go to the library. （二）呈现新课 （Presentation）
Let’s learn
1. 教师请学生观察课本中A Let’s learn 的图片，教师说：There are some special days in April. What are they? 教师继续提问：When is April Fool’s Day? 引导学生回答。教师板书句型：When is the sports meet? It’s on April 4th.和单词first（1st），second（2nd）,third(3rd), fourth(4th), fifth(5th),学生拼读单词。
2. 教师播放录音，学生模仿跟读单词和句子。然后请男生女生分角色进行问答。 3. 教师指导两组学生做传话游戏，
4. 教师手持鞋油日期和活动的卡片，依次快速出示给学生看，提问When is ?？ 学生抢答：It’s on ? 然后教师将该卡片贴在黑板上，卡片共有5-7张，排成一周活动安排表。
5. 同桌学生根据黑板上的卡片，创编有关一周活动安排表的对话，，创编有关一周活动安排表的对话，主要参考A Let’s talk板块。
6. Ask and answer.学生死人小组仿照课本中插图或黑板上的卡片，结合班级实际制定一周活动安排表，运用核心句型When is ?? It’s ?进行对话交流。 （三）趣味操练 （Practice）
1. 利用课间或图片随机呈现first，second，third，fourth，fifth这五个单词，5秒钟后图片快速消失，请学生说出刚才出现的单词。学生说出单词后，教师重新呈现图片，核对答案。
2. 教师出示序数词的单词卡片，采用开小火车的活动方式，由第一位学生举起卡片并大声读出单词，然后将卡片传递到后面一位学生，继续认读单词。以此类推，最后完成整个小组学生的单词认读活动。X K b 1.C o m
3. 教师请学生们准备好单词卡片，教师说出其中一个单词，请学生快速举起相应的单词卡片。 （四）homework
1. 背诵四会单词sfirst，second，third，fourth，fifth。 2. 用四会单词和句型造句。
