Boys and girls. Ss: Good morning! Miss/ Mr…T: How are you? Ss: I’m fine. Thank you! And you? T: I’m fine, too. Who is your … teacher? Ss: Mr/ Miss… T: What’s he/she like? Ss: He/ She is …and … 3．边说边板书课题。 4．小黑板出示或口述学习目标。 二．先 学（7分钟） 1. 出示自学指导1：仔细看书P4 Let’s learn部分，认真思考并完成下列问题： (1)观察单词的特点，想并写出单词和句子的汉语意思。 (2)两人一组或四人一组自读单词和句子，画出不会读的部分。 2. 出示自学指导2： (1)放录音一遍，边听边指。解决不会读的部分词和句的读音。 (2)放录音一遍，边听边指边小声跟读。词后er部分发什么音？ (3)放录音一遍，边听边指边大声跟读。 (4)两人一组或四人一组自读单词和句子。 三．后 教（15分钟） 1. 出示自学检测1： (1)请你说出单词的特点，说出单词和句子的汉语意思。 (2)请你读单词和句子，不会读或读错的部分由会读的学生解决。
全班不会的由老师解决。 2. 出示自学检测2：
(1)a.T: 出示刘翔的图片，师问：Who is he? What’s he like?
生答：Yes, Liu Xiang is tall.
出示姚明的图片，师问：Look at Yao Ming. What’s he like? Ss: He is tall, too. T: Yes, he is tall. He is taller than Liu Xiang.
Ss: Yao Ming is taller than Liu Xiang. Liu Xiang is shorter than Yao Ming.
b.教师出示测量身高的米尺并说:“I am 165 cm tall. How tall are you?”引导学生测量自己的身高并用句子回答：“I am … cm tall.”板书：cm=centimeter 领读、拼读单词并告诉学生它的复数形式: centimeters. 如：I am 165 cm tall.读作：I am one hundred and sixty-five centimeters tall.
c.T: 教师出示测量体重的健康称，测量自己的体重说并：I am 52 kg heavy. How heavy are you?”引导学生用“I am … kg heavy.”回答问题。
板书：kg=kilogram 领读，拼读单词并练习说句子。让学生理解在实际句子中应该使用复数形式。如：I am 62 kg heavy.应读作：“I am sixty-two kilograms heavy.” d.教师指一学生问：How old are you? S1: I am 12/… years old. T: I am 36 years old. I am older than you. You are younger than me. (2)Ask and answer one by one. A: How tall are you?
