Step 2. teaching new knowledge: want
Ask one pupil: Do you want to drink any water? Read want
Say: I want, You want, We want some water. Work in pairs:

Step 3. Listen to the tape and repeat. Answer the questions about the text. Who is the boy in the text? Who’s the lady in the text? What can Tom see on the house? How is the ice-cream? What does Tom want to buy?

Step 4. Practice.
Practice the dialogue in groups of two. Try to do it.

1. Sing together. 《Days of the Week》. 2. Look at the word cards and read one by one. 3. Exercise: Look, judge and stick.
