DC machine. The motor, when operating in conjunction with the converter, generates no starting torque or pull-up torque or pull-out torque. The two converters are fed with the same rated speed value via the serial interface. The speed controller of each converter keeps the desired value constant up to the load limit. Overloading the drive is safely excluded due to the fact that the output current is monitored and limited by the integral current controllers. As soon as either drive approaches its load limit, the other drive will take over a bigger portion of the load. Even load distribution is ensured by the current controllers when the complete drive system is subjected to full load.
通过变频器控制器，使异步电机起一个等值的直流电机的作用。在直流电机身上，“电枢电流”和“磁场电流”分开处理。经过处理的电流又转换回三相电流，并以此调节电机。这样，异步电机也具有应有的自身动力。使用变频器的电机不会产生启动力矩、背斜力矩、翻转力矩。

Armature setting range电枢调节范围
The converter keeps the voltage/frequency ratio constant until the nominal speed is reached. The magnetic flow in the motor therefore remains constant, and the motor is running at a constant torque.
变频器使电压和频率关系保持不变，直到电机达到额定的转速。为此，电机中的磁流保持不变，电机以恒定转矩运转。
Field weakening range弱磁范围
The voltage remains constant above nominal speed. The magnetic flow in the motor decreases with the frequency rising. In this case the motor is running at a constant power.

Pulse width modulation修正脉冲宽度
The voltages and frequencies given by the control are generated by application of sine-rated squarewave voltages. Voltage distribution is achieved over the width of the applied intermediate circuit voltage. The current follows the pulsed voltage. At the adjusted pulse frequency of 2 kHz, the current is nearly sinusoidal through the smoothing effect of the motor inductance.

Mains inverter (1)
The intermediate circuit is supplied with DC voltage via the free-wheel diodes of a six-pulse IGBT mains inverter in the non-regenerative mode.
The voltage of the intermediate circuit is applied with clock pulses to the individual mains phases via the IGBT's in the regenerative mode.

Intermediate circuit capacitor (2)
The intermediate circuit shall decouple the on-board DC-AC inverter and the current source inverter. The intermediate circuit contains a capacitor battery, the main task of which is to provide the DC-AC inverter with a DC voltage that is as constant as possible.

DC-AC inverter (3)
The DC-AC inverter is the actual actuating member for the control of the machine because it applies the pulsed voltage of the intermediate circuit to the individual motor phases. The DC-AC inverter is of three-phase bridge design. The transistors are of IGBT technique.

Precharging circuit (4)
The intermediate circuit capacitors are precharged via a resistor in order to avoid fuse failures when the inverter is switched on. The main contactor is activated and the precharging contactor deactivated when the intermediate circuit has reached a voltage of 300 V.
