◆ 教材分析 1. Analysis of the Students

Lesson 4 is the forth lesson in Unit 1, Book 5.This unit focus on the subject staying healthy. Students cares about the subject because it is close to everyone. Lesson 4 mainly talks about smoking. It also tells us an old saying: Love our body.

(1) Master the words: smoke, harmful, disease, lung, breathe, harm, cigarette, whenever, risk, somebody. (2) Master the phrases:
Millions of, as a result of, second-hand smoke, take a risk, get into the habit of, stay away from. 【能力目标】
Improve reading ability and express harmful effects of smoking and how to stay away from cigarettes. 【情感目标】

He has been away from Beijing for a week. 他离开北京一周了。 leave for+地点，离开去某处
They left for Shanghai yesterday. 他们昨天离开去上海了。 He must be ill. 他一定是病了。 must 表示推测“一定”，常用于肯定。
